Get on the Road to Good Health-Get Your Digestive System in Order

Supplement Stomach Acid and Enzymes

Most people are not digesting their food properly due to a lack of stomach acid, enzymes or both.  This shortage contributes to leaky gut and stresses your digestive system.  This makes the digestive system less able to break down your food into the nutrients your body needs to absorb to survive and be healthy.  Lack of stomach acid can also predispose you to dysbiosis, the imbalance of bacteria in the microbiome.

Luckily, there is an easy fix for this.  Take digestive enzymes, such as Dr. Gutman’s Digestive Enzymes, with every meal and supplement your stomach acid with 1000 mg hydrochloric acid tablets with each meal or 1-4 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar diluted with plenty of water.[1] Or you can simply have on hand for each meal a bottle of Dr. Gutman’s Apple Cider Vinegar.

Dr. Gutman’s Digestive Enzymes are formulated to support the breakdown and utilization of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats in an efficient manner, and helps alleviate indigestion. Our Pro Enzyme Blend increases gut absorption of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.  The benefits of this enzyme blend are:

Makzyme Pro Enzyme Blend

●      Supports digestion of protein and nutrient absorption of amino acids (300).

●      Supports athletic performance, enhanced gut microbiome, increased muscle mass, immune health, reduced cortisol levels, digestive health, cognitive function, and improved allergy symptoms (103,104, 107, 108, 109).

●      Supports 70% of gut-immunological axis (gut immune system) via enhanced mucosal immune response (toll-like receptors), and upregulation of genetic markers associated with macrophage (gut-immune cell) activity (108, 109).

●      Supports digestive and immune health via decreased irritable bowel symptoms, suppression of helicobacter pylori growth (pathogenic bacteria), reduced histamine (reduced allergic response), and reduced gut inflammation (103,104, 107, 108, 109).

●      Supports athletic performance via reduction of respiratory tract infections, reduced muscle damage, improved body composition, reduction lactate induced exercise (muscle burn), and body composition (108).

●      Supports gut-brain axis via increased neural, endocrine (hormonal), and anti-inflammatory modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis (108).

●      Reduces inflammation via activation of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and downregulates the expression of nuclear factor (NF)-κB and pro-inflammatory cytokines (inflammation markers) (109).

Bromelain

●      Supports digestion of protein and nutrient absorption of amino acids (300).

Papain

●      Supports digestion of protein and nutrient absorption of amino acids.

Fungal Lipase

●      Supports digestion of fats and nutrient absorption of triglycerides (300).

Fungal Lactase

●      Supports digestion of casein and nutrient absorption of dairy-derived products (300).

Our enzymes also include Bromelain, which supports digestion of protein and nutrient absorption of amino acids, Papain, which supports digestion of protein and nutrient absorption of amino acids, fungal lipase, which supports digestion of fats and nutrient absorption of triglycerides, and fungal lactase, which supports digestion of casein and nutrient absorption of dairy-derived products.

Dr. Gutman’s Apple Cider Vinegar Capsules are synthesized to healthy cholesterol, blood sugar, immune health, digestive health, and increased fat burning.  They are doctor formulated, manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices in an FDA approved facility, and contain no GMO ingredients.

●      Supports healthy cholesterol, glucose, triglyceride, and hemoglobin A1C levels (28).

●      Reduces total plasma cholesterol concentrations via increased stimulation of acid bile excretion (29).

●      Supports immune health with high concentrations of flavonoids, gallic acid, catechins, and ferulic acid (29).

●      Improves blood sugar regulation by increased glucose utilization, lipolysis (fat burning), reduced lipogenesis (fat storage), and suppressing hepatic (liver) synthesis of glucose (30).

Supplement with Probiotics

You can get a healthy dose of probiotics from foods such as yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kombucha or kimchi, but if you are at the point of reading this book to improve your digestive health, you also should be taking supplements with every meal.

It is generally recommended to choose probiotic products with at least 1 billion colony forming units (CFU) and containing different types of the genus Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Many products contain more than 50 billion CFUs, but more is not necessarily better. [3]  Taking too powerful of a supplement can actually cause stomach upset, which is contrary to your goals. A good probiotic supplement to try which contains three types of Lactobacilli as well as Bifidobacterium is Dr. Gutman’s Probiotics 40.

Dr. Gutman’s Non-Dairy Probiotics  contain 40 billion CFUs, which are formulated to support athletic performance, enhanced gut microbiome, increased muscle mass, immune health, reduced cortisol levels, digestive health, cognitive function, and improved allergy symptoms.

Our product is synthesized utilizing the latest scientific research and formulated with optimal ratios of collagen peptides to produce world-class results.

Our formula is doctor formulated, third party independently tested for heavy metals, and impurities, made in the USA, GMP certified, and produced in an FDA registered facility, and uses no GMO ingredients. 1% of the supplements on the market can match our world-class standards.

The benefits of Dr. Gutman’s Probiotics Non-Dairy Formula are:

Probiotic 40 Billion

●      Supports athletic performance, enhanced gut microbiome, increased muscle mass, immune health, reduced cortisol levels, digestive health, cognitive function, and improved allergy symptoms (103,104, 107, 108, 109).

●      Supports 70% of gut-immunological axis (gut immune system) via enhanced mucosal immune response (toll-like receptors), and upregulation of genetic markers associated with macrophage (gut-immune cell) activity (108, 109).

Chapter Summary/Key Takeaways

Because your eating habits have resulted in an unbalanced microbiome, and the reduction of stomach acid needed to digest your food and pass it to the small intestine, you must supplement at each meal with hydrochloric acid or apple cider vinegar, digestive enzymes, and a good probiotic supplement.   For more information on Dr. Gutman's Digestive Health supplements, click here.
